Halloween

I've always loved dressing up for Halloween.  Unfortunately, Nate does not.  I had this great idea to be Curious George characters.  Nate was George, Steve was the Man with the yellow hat, I was Chef Pasghetti, and Aubrey was Gnocchi, the chef's cat.  Well, the night of our ward party, we had to bribe Nate with candy to put the suit on. He finally did it after the candy bribe and after telling him that his cousin, Annie, wanted to see him the monkey.  But no monkey head...he refused. Oh well!

On the night of Halloween I said the word monkey and he screamed and ran and hid from me.  He did not want anything to do with that monkey suit.  So I tried to find another costume in the 10 minutes we had before meeting up with our trick or treat group.  Finally he accepted the fireman hat only if I wore one too.
 Silly kid.

The week before Halloween we went to Cox Farms to get pumpkins.  It was way cool and worth the $9/adult.  I don't know that I would go for the $17 they charge on weekends...but the weekday price was totally worth it in my mind :)

In line for the volcano slide

The extent of my Halloween decor :)
This is from a party with friends earlier in the day.  I loved the sock monkey costume :)

Cousins all ready for trick or treating!
