The last hurrah in AZ

When the time came for us to leave Arizona, we were pretty bummed.  We had a blast all summer with Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Jenni, Uncle Mike, and Aunt Emily.  Nate definitely misses being with them (and so do we).  Here are some pictures from our last little bit there.

One evening we tried long boarding together.  Steve was pretty good, I was horrible, and Nate just loved it :)

Chick Fil A is awesome and they gave all of us a full meal for dressing like cows. SWEET!

We had quite the adventure planning the Andersen family reunion.  We were supposed to go camping at the PERFECT campsite for this many people.  But bears decided it was their territory and there were several attacks before it was our turn to go.  So the campsite was closed.  So Mom had to think super fast of a plan B.  It turned out wonderful.  We stayed a cabin that belonged to her uncle, I think.  It was huge and had a lot of space for tents, a pavilion (or as I learned in AZ they call them ramadas), volleyball court, and lots of other cool things. It turned out to be a super fun family reunion.  Go Mom for adapting to a last minute crisis!

The van was PACKED and Mike was a good sport for sitting back there.

One of the activities was a family dance party.  It was incredibly fun.  This is a picture of the "boys only" dance, which was quite entertaining I must say.

I loved all my baby helpers.  Jenni is a favorite of his :)

"Sorry Mom!  No packing!  We're staying in Arizona!"

Up, down, up, down

Emily and I made gourmet cupcakes.  They were delicious!  We had our secret ingredient that made them extra yummy :)

He loves his Grandpa!

We tried hard to get a cute picture of these 3 and Nate would NOT cooperate.  So, just trust me, he LOVES them :)

Well that sums up what I have in pictures.  We had a blast and we're so grateful for good family that put up with us all summer long. It was definitely a summer to remember :)
